We recently held an LLA Leaders’ Breakfast Meeting at Headingley Stadium on Friday 27 January, focused on inclusive leadership.

Our guests included leaders from across the Alliance and beyond, coming together to network, forge new relationships and share knowledge.

Speaking at the event, and introduced by Gary Hetherington (Leeds Rhinos CEO) was our ambassador, ex-rugby league international Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE, who shared his views on inclusivity and leadership. Jamie was also speaking at the Carr Manor Community School staff INSET, which was happening concurrently in the Howard Suite.

Jermaine Benjamin, Managing Director at Transition Partners, then followed with a talk on his approach to growing an inclusive workforce. He spoke about his own remarkable journey and posed questions about the way in which we approach inclusivity in the workplace today.

We are already looking forward to the next breakfast meeting.
