Thank you to all who attended the latest Leaders’ Breakfast meeting at Headingley Stadium on Friday 11th October. Thank you to our sponsors Mod-Con Designs who made the event possible.
This was our eighth breakfast meeting, and another at maximum capacity, with over 100 people in attendance from over 75 organisations. Many of these organisations were having their first experience of an LLA event, expanding the network and connections that can be made at these meetings.
Our speakers for this event were Leeds City Council Director of Children and Families Julie Longworth (second from left) and University of Leeds Chair and Pro-Chancellor Alastair Da Costa (right).
Both speakers shared their personal journeys, reflecting on how their experiences shape their work. These fascinating talks are available to watch on the LLA Members’ Zone.
Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE, former professional rugby league player and LLA Ambassador held a tour at the end of the event for any guests who wanted to find out more about the fantastic facility at Headingley and the work being done by the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Thank you to Mod-Con Designs who sponsored the event.
